The Nutrition Advantage helps organisations across Oxfordshire understand the real power of food — for physical health, mental clarity and everyday performance.
We run workplace nutrition workshops and webinars that give employees practical, science-backed knowledge about the link between what they eat and how they think, feel and function.
Our aim is simple: better food knowledge should be available to everyone, not just those who can afford a nutritionist — starting with the workplaces where people spend most of their week.
GFO Charter Pledge:
We pledge to widen access to good nutrition education across Oxfordshire by working with local employers to bring evidence-based food knowledge directly to their teams — helping more people understand and benefit from the connection between food, mood and wellbeing.

My goal is to reach 4,000 people across Oxfordshire by the end of 2028, building relationships with employers & teams of every size to get good food education into as many workplaces as possible.

Description
Tiddly Pommes is a micro-enterprise which turns surplus apples from the Oxford area into bottled juice, often single-variety, for local sale.
Within Oxford and the surrounding area enormous quantities of lovely apples go unused each autumn.
Tiddly Pommes is Rupert’s experimental local micro-enterprise which turns them into bottled apple juice which is sold locally.
Trees whose crops might fall unharvested exist at a great variety of local sites and for many reasons, not least as relics of former plantations by which the old city was at one time practically surrounded.
Tiddly Pommes seeks to demonstrate that it is possible to make good use of such precious resources, even if this is unfashionable in the current era of mass institutionalised waste.
Far from being a problem, the surviving trees can offer us something special and intriguing as well as tasty, a characterful selection from the nation’s great abandoned apple heritage and a unique glimpse of Oxford’s past.
GFO Charter Pledge
Save surplus fruit from going to waste, pressing it into delicious juice.
By pressing a large range of apple varieties, reconnect people with heritage apples and help them to appreciate the value of their apple trees.

Land and Livestock Management for Life (aka 3LM) is the Savory Institute Networks Hub for the UK. Based on the work of Ecologist Allan Savory (see: https://www.ted.com/talks/allan_savory_how_to_green_the_world_s_deserts_and_reverse_climate_change?language=en) we bring the potential to change food production to significantly enhance the environment (sequestering lots of CO2 naturally), regenerate soils, food quality, whilst bringing a new sovereignty to farmers and producers and being the cornerstone of a Regenerative Economy.
3LM was developed from my lessons in local food production, the 12 years of study into holistic health and the insights developed from discussions with the many local people interested in the quality of food (organic) we were producing at the time., having applied to the Savory Institute in 2014. Vitality Farm is our 95 acre mainly grassland farm near Wallingford.
GFO Charter Pledge
From 2016 we look to add the the diversity on our farm, presently traditional cattle, by partnering with people who want to produce local food, but like so many locally have no land to do so. Working on the principals of Joel Salatin of Polyface Farm in Virginia, we are seeking to 'multi layer' the activities on the farm, to further our soil regeneration and fertility whilst producing more local primary products, job and more social inclusion.
